Gondolom, ez azt jelentheti, hogy a tulajdonosok effektíve nem a birtokon laknak/birtokkal foglalkoznak. Angol kontextusban a 'gentleman farmer' jutna eszembe, de szőlősgazdák kapcsán valahogy nem meggyőző. Szerintetek?

agree  juvera: De nem "gentry land", és itt előbb volt a land mint a gentry: a megnövekedett birtok tette őket gentryvé, nem a gentry vásárolta fel a birtokot. Ezért a landed gentry sem igazán illik ide.

  -> Kösz. A land mindenütt előbb volt, mint a gentry. Még a bibliai rend is ez, előbb a föld, aztán Ádám :)
