pet peeve Explanation: Ez jó kis találgatós lesz itt! Ha András ad nekünk kontextust, akkor célratörőbbek lehetünk. Addigis: A kifejezés csak korlátozott körben felel meg a gumicsontnak, "hepp" értelemben lehet használni (az a heppje, hogy...). Ha ilyesmiről van szó, akkor jó lehet. issue of the day/month Explanation: I agree w Katalin that it will be sheer guesswork unless we get more context, but I'll toss this one in because the topic is politics. I take " gumicsont" to mean an issue that serves as a showcase for politicians to jawbone on, but not necessarily do anything about - a showcase issue that is more likely to die down when the next one comes along. |
