Tehát tényleg furcsa, hogy az ítod hollowman hogy folklore, és azt a szót adod meg kérdséként, hogy parádéskocsi, és a végén kiderül, hogy ez egy lenyitható tetejű személygépkocsi. Szóval akkor miért folklór ez? És miért hívják parádéskocsinak, ha manapság senki nem hívja így?

Bride and Groom and a Wedding Carriage
This is an open carriage drawn by a horse and coachman. The bride is about to step from the carriage, being welcomed by her groom. In times past a coach was often used to carry the bride to her wedding. Even today a bride may choose a romantic horse drawn carriage to take her to her wedding and to carry the bride and groom to the reception after the wedding. The coach can be decorated with garlands of flowers and ribbon streamers to add to the other floral decorations being used throughout the wedding day celebration.

There are several carriages we can use simultaneously. Vis-a-vis carriages are the traditional "Cinderella" carriage. One carriage is white with silver velvet interior and seats, the other white vis-a-vis has emerald green velvet interior and seats.
Both have convertible tops which can be lowered (upon request) to display the Bride and Groom during their ride.
Carriages are equipped with CD player stereos to provide romantic wedding music or music of your choice to be played during the departure and ride to your destination along with a complementary bottle of champagne to celebrate your special day!

Ha modern, akkor lead wedding car az élen haladó, a többi pedig sima wedding car (de nem nagyon divat a nyitott, inkább a limuzin közkedvelt).

Köszönöm a kiegészítő magyarázatokat. Láthatólag ez a folklór kifejezés most van születőben. Egy nyitható tetejű limuzin még amerikai mércével is annyira luxusnak számít, hogy bevett kifejezés nincs rá. A többség nemhogy ezt a kocsit, de még a biztosítását sem tudná megengedni magának. :) Ezek fényében az ötleteim: FANCY WHEELS vagy FANCY (WEDDING) RIDE. A kis falu közösségének hozzáállását is vissza kell adni, így szerintem ezek hangulata jobban megfelel, mint ha szó szerint lefordítanánk a nyitott "parádéskocsit" - amiben egyébként nincs utalás esküvőre, menyasszonyra/vőlegényre, tehát ez az angolban sem kell feltétlenül. Van ilyen nevű esküvői autókölcsönző cég pl.: Fancy Wheelin'
