Ebből nyilvánvalóan nem a rekonstrukció a probléma... Már azt is sikerült kideriteni, hogy az átemelő az lift station, de mi lehet a sodorvonali bevezető?

Nyilvánvalóan valami szennyviz vagy ilyesmi téma.

Használhatnánk reconstructiont is, de Amerikában a modification használata gyakoribb, különösen ha a structure-rel együtt használjuk. Az átemelőtelep egyszerűen lift station. Nem kell hozzátenni, hogy vízátemelő. A megadott referenciában éppen ilyen van. A sodorvonal a channel line, de amikor az inlettel együtt használják, akkor csak channel.

Használhatnánk reconstructiont is, de Amerikában a modification használata gyakoribb, különösen ha a structure-rel együtt használjuk. Az átemelőtelep egyszerűen lift station. Nem kell hozzátenni, hogy vízátemelő. A megadott referenciában éppen ilyen van. A sodorvonal a channel line, de amikor az inlettel együtt használják, akkor csak channel.

A sodorvonal: current-line,
a bevezető pedig: discharge, (a folyóba kiengedik a tisztított vizet, és az angol ebből a szemszögből nézi.)

Ha félreértettem volna ezt a szövegtöredéket, és a bevezető az átemelőbe menő cső akarna lenni, akkor a discharge helyett: intake (pipe). (Nem tartom valószínűnek, mert ez nem logikus, az intake pipe-nak teljesen mindegy, hogy sodorvonali-e vagy sem, míg a discharge-nál nagyon is fontos.)

A lif/lifting közül a lifting stationt jobban kedvelem, mert akkor nem az épületekben levő lift jut róla az ember eszébe.

A lift/iftinget megnéztem, úgy látszik, amióta én nem fordítottam sewage treatment anyagot, leszoktak a lifting szóról. Kár, de ezek után azt kell mondanom, a lift a manapság bevett szó.

András: kb. 3 éve fordítottam egy ilyen anyagot, és emlékszem, hogy sokat kerestem a kifejezéseket.
Akkor pl. sok találat volt a fent említett liftingre is, azért választottam én akkor azt, és most semmi.
A current-line-ra volt egy néhány, magyarral is összevetettem.
Nálam partközeli sodorvonalról volt szó, lehet, hogy ezért használtam mindkét szót.
Itt viszont talán elég a "current", mert nem írja, milyen current, így az általános sodrás, vagy fő sodrás vonala, ami
"main current".

  -> A current-line ritka, de érthető, a discharge viszont teljesen standard angol kifejezés./ Kösz, tudom, hogy jó, csak azt hittem, kezd kimenni a divatból. :-)
