Minden országban más a hivatalos rendszer neve, részletesen lásd:

Itt magáról a nyilvántartási rendszerről van szó, amely a legtöbb fejlett ország esetben elektronikus adatbázis(oka)t jelent, de lehet papír-alapú is, ezért nem írtam, hogy database, hanem system, mert abba minden belefér. De nem is fontos a "system", mert a "records" (így többes számban) tulajdonképpen maga a nyilvántartás.

Ha tudjuk, hogy pontosan melyik ország rendszeréről van szó, akkor használható az adott ország nyilvántartásának hivatalos neve. Feltételezem, hogy ha a dokumentum eredetileg magyar, akkor a magyar hatóságoktól származik, melynek jelenlegi pontos neve:

Itt ők a "criminal register" fordítást használják, amivel nehezen tudok egyetérteni, akkor már inkább "registry".

Igazából az lenne a mérvadó, ha megtalálnánk a 2009. évi XLVII. törvény hivatalos angol fordítását, mert abban szerepelnek a rendelkezések a bűnügyi nyilvántartási rendszerről.
Nekem sajnos nem sikerült megtalálni az angol változatot, hátha valakinek több szerencséje lesz.

Az ORSZÁGOS ATOMENERGIA HIVATAL egyik angol nyelvű dokumentumában találtam egy hivatkozást a fent említett törvényre, miszerint:

"Act XLVII of 2009 that re-defined the system of criminal records and amended Article 11 of the Act on Atomic Energy."
