Hebrew term or phrase: פרטים
An ENT examined a person who had an earache for a week. Here are a couple of lines with the term פרטים in it. It may not mean "details" but rather might refer to a certain part of the ear's structure. What is the correct term?

מימין אודם ניכר של התעלה החיצונית והתופית עם היעלמות של הפרטים

and also

בבקיקה - שמאל - תופית מעובה, חסרת פרטים, נוזלים.

bony landmarks
Explanation:
"Findings in patients without perforation include bulging and erythema of the tympanic membrane and a disappearance of the normally present light reflex and bony landmarks of the middle ear."

And apparently one of the symptoms of an earache/ear infection is.....

"obscured or distorted bony landmarks of the tympanic membrane (evident on otoscopy)"
http://www.mdhealthnetwork.org/OtitisMedia.html

It's feasible that these "landmarks" could be referred to as "details".
