Amir, I hope you are aware that הצהרה מאולצת בשבועה is a translation of words and not necessarily of the meaning. I asked around with some lawyers who are not familiar with the term הצהרה מאולצת בשבועה(then again, they're not all litigators). I think you should verify your suggestion since it doesn't seem to explain the true meaning behind the English term.

I think you should verify your suggestion since it doesn't seem to explain the true meaning behind the English term.

Asker: Thanks for the effort -- but I needed a more concise term and ended up with a version of הצהרה מאולצת בשבועה as I couldn't find a formal Hebrew term that's used for this type of thing.

Asker: Thanks - your comment is valid, but from the context in my document, the translation I used seems to be appropriate. This, I guess, is one of these cases when there's no ideal solution, especially when the deadline is tight...
