Of course I`m here, Daphi
Explanation:
First of all Daphi is short for Daphne (Duffy is too much like some cartoon figure or was is it Goovy...?).
Another variation would be: Sure I`m here or certainly I`m here.

For all those who care, HAPPY NEW YEAR

It`s not simply "I am here", the word 'כן' emphazises the being there, so in this case, Tristar was right, just not english enough.

In the end I would say: "Oh, yes, I am here"

Hello all
I do am here, Duffy!

Explanation:
Hebrew transliterates names phonetically, so the name may be anything that sounds like Duffy.

disagree  Eynnat: I do am here? That's not English. Ask ANY native English speaker. Sorry, that's how it is. Orr-Stav: thanks for agreeing, but I assure you I am right on more than the odd occasion.

-> If I can say "I do like you" (which I surely don't), it is perfectlty right to say "I do am here".

disagree  Jonathan Orr-Stav: Sorry, Tristar, but on this occasion Eynnat is right (even if she didn't say "sheesh!"). "I do am here" is not English, even if "I do like you" is. Sorry.

agree  Eynnat: Tristar's not English enough? Not English at all. Take my word for it.

agree  Sue Goldian: Take my word for it too.

agree  Ron Armon: I agree (it's not English). Iwould simply translate it "I AM here, Daphie!", with the Capitals acting as emphasis.

-> Daphie with ie, of course - thanks

agree  Jonathan Orr-Stav: Ron's version is the best.
