Έλαβα μέρος στη μάχη του Σταυρωμένου.
Το πρωί της 26-5-1941 ο Διοικητής των Αυστραλών ΚΑΜΠΕΛ διέταξε επίθεση κατά των Γερμανών του Σταυρωμένου.
Στην επίθεση θα έπαιρνε μέρος εκτός των Αυστραλών και Ελληνικά Τμήματα, ο 2ος και 3ος λόχος και ο λόχος πολυβολικό που ήμουν εγώ.
Η προέλαση όμως από τα δυτικά προς τα ανατολικά προχωρούσαν πολύ αργά γιατί το πυρ του Γερμανικού πολυβόλου ήταν πολύ δραστικό.
Εγώ με την διμοιρία μου βρίσκομαι στο ύψωμα νοτίως του Σταυρωμένου κάτω από τα ελαιόδεντρα.
Με τις βολές του Γερμανικού πολυβόλου που ήταν συνεχείς και εμπόδιζαν την κίνηση των φίλιων τμημάτων τα κλαδιά των δέντρων, να πέφτουν στη σειρά από τα ανατολικά προς τα δυτικά έβγαλα το συμπέρασμα και δεν έπεσα έξω πως τα πολυβόλα αυτά ευρίσκοντο στο ύψωμα που είναι ανατολικά του Σταυρωμένου, κάτω από δέντρα.

I would use hill as a general term that is unlikely to be wrong. You could also use "high ground", "rise", "elevation" etc. Or why not google for some further descriptions to help you out. Perhaps you could even find some pictures on google images.

I realise I was not very clear in my explanation (that's what comes of trying to do three things at the same time). I meant that you should search on google for descriptions/photos of the actual location so you can decide for yourself if it looks for like a hill/mound/elevation etc.
