Στην αρχαία Ελληνική σημαίνει άγριο ζώο, αλλά στην νέα σημαίνει άνθρωπο άξεστο, αστοιχείωτο, απαίδευτο. Δεν βρήκα ακριβή όρο σε λεξικά και Google. Αν και βρίσκω διάφορα συνώνυμα στην Αγγλική δεν βρίσκω ακριβές αντίστοιχο.

agree  GEORGIOS-ORESTIS ZOUMPOS: Συμφωνω. Βέβαια ανάλογα και με το context, πότε γράφτηκε το κείμενο και σε ποια Αγγλικά (ΗΠΑ, Αγγλίας, Ιρλανδίας, Αυστραλίας) μεταφράζεται. Το good for nothing (ίσως και worthless piece of ... excrement) νομίζω είναι πασπαρτού και ταιριάζει
