main artery of the heart (aorta) Explanation: Εννοείται η αορτή. Another surrogate index of hypertensive target organ damage may be central artery (aortic) stiffness. http://www.nature.com/jhh/journal/v20/n12/full/1002083a.html Aneurysms can, in theory, occur in any artery in the body but are most common ( and of most clinical importance ) when they arise in the aorta - the main central artery of the body, which carries blood from the heart down through the chest and abdomen, giving off major branches to all the body's organs. http://www.gvg.org.uk/aaainfo.htm The largest arterial trunk is the aorta, branches of which divide and subdivide into ever-smaller tubes, or arterioles, until they terminate as minute capillaries, the latter connecting with the veins. http://columbia.thefreedictionary.com/central artery, long The blood leaving the left ventricle exits through the aorta, the body’s main artery. Two coronary arteries, referred to as the "left" and "right" coronary arteries, emerge from the beginning of the aorta, near the top of the heart. http://www.cardioconsult.com/Anatomy/ Aorta: Main artery of the heart which carries blood to the body. http://www.he.net/~altonweb/cs/downsyndrome/cardterm.html Όλα τα αποτελέσματα εδώ: http://www.google.gr/search?hl=el&q="main artery of the hear... |
