This concerns the experiences of a Greek immigrant in Nuremberg, Germany.

Can you throw any light on this? I'd like to know, for a start, exactly what τριαριών means here. Thanks

It simply means of the "threes" (probably three elections as she won in three elections).

It is a German pub:

Hier wurde ich zum "Restaurant-Kaiser", hier wurde ich auch zum "Dreier-Kaiser" bei drei Wahlkämpfen. ch benutze den Titel "Kaiser" und nicht "König" oder irgendetwas anderes, weil Nürnberg im Mittelalter zum Ort bestimmt worden war, an dem der neu gekrönte Kaiser seine erste Reichstagssitzung abhielt.
