Επειδή τα λεξικά ταυτίζουν τις έννοιες «χειροτεχνία» και «βιοτεχνία» >>>"handicraft", που δε θεωρώ καθόλου σωστό, αφού οι περισσότερες βιοτεχνίες χρησιμοποιούν βιομηχανικό εξοπλισμό και μεθόδους παραγωγής, μικρής απλώς κλίμακας, θα πρότεινα τον όρο “small manufacturer”.
