Ρόμπες ξε ........ |
|
"states of undress" Explanation: Literally, "undone, or unbuttoned bathrobes, or dressing gowns". So if it is the title of a movie or TV series, presumably a comedy or even, αμάν, a sex-comedy, how about "States of Undress"? |

laughting stock Explanation: Here, the meaning of the word *ρόμπες* is *ρεζίλι* (ridicule). Δηλαδή, *γίναμε ρόμπες* και μάλιστα *ξεκούμπωτες* σημαίνει *ρεζίλι κι ακόμα πιο πολύ* (more than ridiculous). Another expression with the same meaning is *γίναμε ρεζίλι των σκυλιών*. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2009-02-27 12:52:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Φυσικά, έπρεπε να γράψω *laughing stock* και όχι όπως εκ παραδρομής έγραψα *laughting*. |
