The Rattler

Explanation:
I would have to say that I very much agree with Mr Bindon. I believe that it is one of those situations where if you don't see the work or read a description of it, then it could be interpreted in many ways. Is it related to the snake or some other animal, is it a musician (as some have said), is it a man on his death bed, or is it something else? If I had no access to the work in any of those ways, I would be tempted to render it as 'The Rattler', as this is more general and, in my opinion, heads in a somewhat likely direction. However, I would roll the dice only in an emergency, if I had no choice, no recourse to other information. I do not condone such an approach, and view it only as a last, desperate resort - there is always the chance that the dice throw wil be way off the mark!
