Asker: Thank you, Katerina. I think grommet and eyelet are equivalent (wikipedia says "A small grommet may also be called an eyelet." I think the "clew" part is specific to sailing, though. I'd never seen μπουντούζι before and I was surprised not to find it in Babiniotis.
