Die Trauben werden über ein Gliederband zu den Stiftwalzen befördert, deren hochflexible Abbeerfinger ein äußerst schonendes Abbeeren ermöglichen. Aufgrund ihres drehzahlgeregelten Antriebes können Gliederband und Abbeerwalzen je nach Traubensorte und -güte individuell eingestellt werden, so dass eine sehr schonende Verarbeitung des Lesegutes garantiert ist.
Darüber hinaus sorgt die Abbeermaschine für eine deutliche Verbesserung der Lesegutqualität, indem eventuelle Verunreinigungen aus dem Erntegut entfernt werden.
Die Abbeermaschine wird über den Fahrhebel bedient und kann je nach Bedarf ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden.
