Jest jeszcze jedno starsze znaczenie, ale w tym kontekście chodzi o dno ładowni. Czyli o górne pokrycie denników w ładowniach. Dolnym pokryciem denników jest dno właściwe :-)

Wycofuję oficjalnie zarzut błędu oryginału. Aczkolwiek wyrażenie jest względnie rzadko uzywane.

  -> O, cala kupa :-) Chemia, biologia, prawo uvm... Tego wyrażenia rzeczywiście nie znałem, stad moja pierwsza notka o błędzie oryginału, bo to w końcu mój Spezialgebiet ;) Ale gugiel to wspaniałe narzędzie i udało się poprawić własny błąd :)
