Man kennt nur die Mutter. Der eigene Geschmack orientiert sich an ihrem. Nicht umsonst lieben es kleine Mädchen, sich mit noch viel zu weiten Sachen als ihre Mutter zu verkleiden.

Non capisco il significato di "als ihre Mutter" in questo contesto, mia interpretazione:

"Non a caso alle bambine piace travestirsi con abiti decisamente troppo ampi rispetto alla propria madre????"

non è la traduzione letterale, quella l'ha già proposta Manuela. Solo che mi sembra un modo di esprimere il concetto più naturale: le bambine frugano nell'armadio della mamma e si mettono i suoi vestiti...

gemeint ist hier EINDEUTIG (wenn auch schlecht ausgedrückt), dass kleine Mädchen gerne im Spiel Kleidungsstücke anziehen, die selbst ihren Müttern zu groß wären!!!
