La variante linguistica è svizzera. Non so come rendere questa frase, mi aiutate?

io credo che l'espressione significhi questo, pensavo ci fosse qualche riferimento precedente a qualcosa che lui si aspetta dai suoi morti. Lavorando un po' di fantasia potrebbe darsi che il signore in questione si riferisca alla sua malattia (se non è ancora in stadio troppo avanzato da aver perso ogni senno) e pensi che, raggiungendo i genitori morti, tutto si risolverà (anche nel senso che toglie il disturbo e non grava più sulla moglie).
