Rythmonorm ist wohl ein Medikament, den Namen würde ich beibehalten. Dieses Medikament wird zuerst als "Bolus" verabreicht und dann mittels "Perfusor".
Bolus bedeutet, es wird eine konzentrierte Menge eines Mittels in kurzer Zeit gegeben, wahrscheinlich intravenös.
Zu Perfusor:
Perfusor, Infusiomat
Bei einem Perfusor werden Medikamente durch den Kolben einer Spritze in genau definiertem Tempo vorangeschoben. Die Infusion gelangt über einen Plastikschlauch in die Kanüle und von dort aus in die Vene. Ein Piepton zeigt an, wenn die Infusion durchgelaufen ist und erneuert werden muß (vgl. [Strobel 1988]). Über einen Infusiomaten werden Nährstoffe, die in Flaschen aufbewahrt werden, dem Kind zugeführt. Auch hier ertönt ein Signal, das dem Pflegepersonal den Zeitpunkt einer Erneuerung der Flasche angibt.

Si tratta di tecniche di somministrazione per via endovenosa:

"In ogni caso, quando vi sia la disponibilità di un accesso venoso periferico o centrale, il medico ha due possibilità: la somministrazione rapida del farmaco cosiddetta in bolo oppure quella di una somministrazione lenta cosiddetta in infusione continua (in genere utilizzata per farmaci di cui vogliogestire l’effetto nel tempo in base alla risposta clinica), potendo sospendere e riprendere la somministrazione. Per questo tipo di infusione, ho bisogno di vettori, ovverosia di liquidi inerti che mi diluiscano il farmaco permettendomi il suo dosaggio lento e regolabile. "

Il farmaco (propafenone) è stato dapprima somministrato in bolo (cioè iniettandolo in vena direttamente) e poi in flebo con infusore (apparecchio che permette di dosare con precisione il farmaco nel tempo)
