innanzi tutto: non ho trovato hits con la terminologia corrispondente in tedesco ed italiano all'interno dello stesso sito.
Però:
sul 1° link vedi un disegno di cosa si intende in tedesco per "umlaufender Radius" (ci sono anche altri esempi in altri settori commerciali, ho scelto questo perchè lo disegna)

sul 2°link vedi che "bordo di protezione" può anche essere utilizzato nel settore automotive

mi sono appassionata un pò nella ricerca
ma i risultati non sono certi al 100%.
fammi sapere come va a finire !
