Lorsqu'une entreprise annonce un licenciement collectif, les employés et leurs représentants syndicaux peuvent s'exprimer dans le cadre de la "procédure de consultation". Dans le cas qui nous occupe, les patrons ont licencié plus de cent employés trois jours après le dépôt du rapport remis par les syndicats. Ceux-ci considèrent maintenant que l'entreprise "betrachtet die Konsultation nur als Alibiübung und hatte nicht die Absicht die Vorschläge zu prüfen".
