Explanation:
Die auf den Sensor eingeleitete Kraft zieht die Schwingsaite, welche zwischen den beiden Köpfen gehalten wird, auseinander. Die veränderte mechanische Spannung der Schwingsaite verursacht eine Veränderung der Eigenfrequenz. Dieses elektromechanische System gibt dann ein frequenzmoduliertes Signal ab.

Leider konnte keine entsprechende Seite eines französichen Waagenherstellers gefunden werden. Alle Treffer bei Google beziehen sich auf eine schwingende Saite bei Musikinstrumenten (corde vibrante oder corde oscillant).

Aber ich denke, daß diese Ausdrücke durchaus genommen werden können.
