Diese rätselhafte Abkürzung begegnet mir zum erstenmal, und zwar:
"Diesen Effekt machten sich die Autoren zu Nutze und konnten Teile aus hypereutektisch legiertem Kupfer (90 at.-% Cu mit Hf- bzw. Zr-Zusatz) gießen, indem sie den Gießspalt auf die Breite der unterkühlten Zone begrenzten."

Besagter Effekt: In Kontaktzonen von flüssigen Metallen, die in Kupferkokillen gegossen werden, kann sich eine unterkühlte Zone bilden, während im Inneren das Metall noch flüssig bleibt.

Ob es sich dabei um eine Ableitung von "Atom/atomar" handelt? Was meint ihr?

Asker: Deine Links waren super! Offenbar geht es um "Atom-Prozent", und mir waren eher Gewichts- und Volumen-% bekannt. Kannst du die Antwort vielleicht eingeben, dann sehen gleich alle, dass die Frage beantwortet ist? ;-)
