Bei gefüllten Blüten wurden die Staubgefäße durch Zucht durch
Blütenblätter ersetzt, dadurch bieten sie keine Nahrungsquelle und
sind auch nicht vermehrungsfähig, weil sie keine Samen ausbilden.
Manche Menschen finden das schöner, z.B. bei Edelrosen.


Fleur double : le centre de la fleur est complètement transformé en pétales donnant à la fleur une apparence de rondeur. Les fleurs doubles sont souvent stériles puisqu'elles ont transformé leurs étamines et leurs carpelles en fleurs. e.x. 'Evening Star'
