German term or phrase: Taschenbeleg
Having just waded through 18 textiles files, I still have a few terms to check. This is the first one, relating to shirt pockets. I even have a picture for it, it appears to be the reinforced top part of the pocket where you put your hand in: "Taschenbeleg umgeschlagen und gesäumt" (??? turned down/over and hemmed).

Explanation:
I once came across Beleg in a text on garment construction. This is the term I was told to use (when I asked the client, a corporation in the sewing industry). However I can't be sure if it was part of a pocket or not!

In case it's any help, the parts of the pocket I recall were:
Taschenbesatz = pocket facing
Taschenbesetzen = pocket trimming
Tascheneingriff = pocket mouth
Taschenbeutel = pocket pouch
