twisting/untwisting Explanation: I don't know if this is a possibility: the idea of the thread's ability to hold its degree of twist twine -- der Zwirn twine -- der Zwirnsfaden to twine -- zwirnen to twine together -- zwirnen twist -- der Zwirn This just to add a few expressions I found in the New German Dictionary...twisting or untwisting -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 hrs (2007-12-07 04:07:27 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Deutsch: Zwirnen Englisch: twisting Tschechisch: Skaní Polnisch: skręcanie http://www.eurotextilregion.de/index.php?id=84&L=0&b=26&wid=... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 hrs (2007-12-07 04:29:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.meeraind.com Another possibility: "take up" as found on this website which is quite amazing! |
