Explanation:
(A literal translation). I'm not very familiar with SAP but the term is from the world of marketing and I assume this is simply an explanation of the contents of the tables.
PS by the same logic branchengruppe would be branch group.
Texte, of course, is texts.

disagree  Alison Kirkland: "Branche" in this context tends to mean "sector", as in "the financial sector". Unless it refers to "branche" as in "branch of a bank, restaurant, shop etc.", for which "Dependance" is more commonly used.
