This is from a market research report about a sports drink which kids buy to come across as being older and sophisticated. "Inszenierung" is a key term in this report and I haven't found anything which I'm happy with.

It's also used in the expression "Inszenierungs- und Leistungsdruck" and "Inszenierungshilfe" ("prop" springs to mind) as in the following two examples.

I would really appreciate any suggestions - or even explanations as to what exactly is meant with "Inszenierung".

Many thanks

Ian

for the first example something like: "... i.e pure show without/ lacking any real substance"

2nd example: \"Inszenierungs- und Leistungsdruck\" ... maybe ... \"pressure to pose/posture and perform\"

3rd example: \"Inszenierungshilfe\" = \"stage prop\" on the still shaky ground of adulthood

Hope this helps you down the road Ian :)

I actually had "stage prop" already, but "posture" was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks all round!
