(also) closest prior art Explanation: This is just a different, very rarely used way of saying nächstliegender Stand der Technik. In more than 15 years at the EPO, I cannot remember when I last heard it. By the way, nächstvergleichbarer Stand der Technik has just a single hit on google. Should you have to differentiate between the two, and my answer does not help, then use *second closest prior art*. |
