venous irritation Explanation: Trudy, I think what they refer to is that these methadone containing medications could be interesting for addicts who might be tempted to shoot it up. Here is some info: http://www.exchangesupplies.org/publications/methadone_brief... The glucose was removed from methadone because people were foolishly injecting it and causing abscesses.
