The only thing I can come up with at the moment is sample utilization, but I am not really happy with it. What is the proper statistical term for this?
Thanks!

...SORRY - *RESPONSE RATE* is by far more common than *return rate*...

Thus, the most appropriate answer would be:

****(low) response rate(s)*****

sampling ratio

Explanation:
Könnte passen, da die Stichprobenausschöpfung i.d.R in Prozent angegeben wird.

disagree  Harald Moelzer (medical-translator): Sorry, but the "sampling ratio" refers to the set of objects selected for a sample; please see: http://www.uic.edu/classes/socw/socw560/SAMPLING/tsld032.htm

Response rate

Explanation:
"**Response rate** as a market research term is the proportion of interviews actually held as a percentage of the interviews originally possible in a sample based on the number of potential respondents or households. As the response rate falls, so does the probability that the persons or households questioned represent the actual universe, and this also reduces the overall quality of the survey."

IMO the 'Zielgruppen- prefix is slightly misleading. To see the above quotes, toggle languags at the URL http://lexikon.guj.de/index.php?slid=1384&sprache_id=2&sitel...
