zur Lösung einer gemeinsamen, nach außen gerichteten Aufgabe to fulfil(l) [complete] a common task that has an impact [influence] beyond the confines of the team Explanation: A team is a formal, continuous grouping [group of people] set up to fulfil(l)/complete a common task that has an impact on the (team) environment. You may replace "continuous" with "permanent" or "long-term". Perhaps also "to jointly complete a task"? (in this example, "environment" is used more in the sense of Umfeld not Umwelt, as e.g. in work environment) |

I'd say Explanation: The definition of team is that of a formal, integrated group of people dedicated to the successful completion of a common, outwardly-directed task outwardly directed seems more fitting here then 'external' |

zur Lösung einer gemeinsamen, nach außen gerichteten Aufgabe Suggested sentence Explanation: A team is a formal on-going group, leveraged to solve a common task with an outward orientation. There. Thats about as ineloquent and ambiguous as the source text. Management consultant bullshit pure. (Been there- they have their own language 'cos they can't express themselves with precision in the everyday one). |
