This is from the bidding specifications for a public contract for maintenance of fire extinguishers. I'm not sure whether Evidenz here means records, reports, vouchers or what:

Die Addressen und Geraetetypen werden vom Auftraggeber bekanntgegeben. Alle weiteren vor Ort befindliche Geraete sind fuer die **Datenevidenz** zu erfassen. Anhand dieser Aufzeichnungen ist die **Evidenzhaltung** der Stueckzahlen und Prueftermine weiterzufuehren und die naechstfaellige Ueberpruefung selbstaendig durchzufuehren.

Die **Geraeteevidenz** is bei Neuzugaengen von Geraeten enterpechend den Meldungen der Magistratsabteilung zu ergaenzen.
