Again, part of a job description. This person's superior has essentially the same sentence in their job description, except that it begins with "Sicherstellen der Einbeziehung..."

I think "representing/representation of" customers' ideas is what is meant here. Depends at what stage the person who holds this job begins their interaction with the customer. But I believe conceptualization goes too much towards "creating" - not what the German "Darstellung" seems to convey.

Explanation:
or possibly "realisation" or "implementation". With our software we often have the phrase "muss im System dargestellt werden" which basically means it either has to be covered by the standard product or realised in the scope of a customer-specific enhancement.

In view of that and in view of it being a job description, I am pretty sure it goes beyond the mere presentation, but rather the implementation (oops, another possible option, I'll add it at the top) of a procedure to ensure that customer feedback somehow makes it to the roadmap.

agree  dkfmmuc: Just want to agree. Depending on the type of work/job you may use "visualization" if thos would be about showing workflows or relationships. But I think conceptualisation will also work.

It is a broader version which I think can include "representation" and that is the bottomline.

I am not comforrtable with "conceptualisation" that includes creativity, which function perhaps his boss may be doing.

"Presentation" is a literal translation which in my opinion does not convey much here
