German term or phrase: Ab jetzt fahren Besucher so richtig ab auf LEGOLAND Deutschland
The full sentence is - Ab jetzt fahren Besucher so richtig ab auf LEGOLAND Deutschland: Eine Schnellzuglokomotive der Baureihe 101 der Deutschen Bahn AG ist optisch ganz auf LEGOLAND eingestellt and wirbt für die Dauer eines Jahres für den einzigartigen Themenpark in Bayern.

I know abfahren auf etw literally means 'to be crazy about sth' but I was unsure if this is the case here or is it referring to the way you can travel to Legoland? The whole text is basically about the new train advertising Legoland.

currently visitors are all excited about Legoland Germany:

Explanation:
This is better than "crayz about"! I suppose we could say as of now for ab jetzt but currently is better. If freestyle is allowed nowadays would be also interesting to use. Ab jetzt sounds weird in German as well. :)

neutral  Sabine Akabayov, PhD: I think, "abfahren" is important here, since it refers to the new train. Additionaly, "ab jetzt" shouldn't be transaleted as "currently", because visitors from now on are excited, since the tain just now started to service them

-> From now on/as of now etc. are not suitable here. Currently/now means "Jetzt" so I dropped "ab". Thanks anyways. Happy new year! :)

disagree  Kim Metzger: "Ab jetzt sounds weird in German as well"? Are you a native speaker of German as well?

-> Who said it wasn't basic? I know abfahren means depart/sail away etc. The meaning here is metaphorical as in crazed & excited.
