Explanation:
Der deutsche Ausdruck "mit Verzichten belasten" benutzt das ungebräuchlichere "Verzichten" als Nomen anstatt das auch sonst im Deutschen übliche "Opfer" ("ein Opfer leisten") was ich als gleichbedeutend mit "to sacrifice" ansehen würde.
Also würde ich in der Übersetzung auch eine etwas ungewöhnlichere Wortzusammenstellung - wie in erster Annäherung oben gegeben - wählen.
