This sentence is driving me mad...ahhh need a break! Here is what I have so far:

Not to mention Bill Clinton who travelled as the first American President to the Swiss wintersport location, thereby according the private world economic summit the highest political respects/honors (?). Damit (Thus?) the elite meeting of global players hit/reached (?) its peak.
