agree  Lars Finsen: Steffen's and Frank's translations are equivalent, I think. This expression goes back a long time, to when Niels Bohr tried to implement his physical principle on world politics in the atomic age.

neutral  Steffen Walter: But who tells you for sure that there isn't any overlap between "world politics" and international criminal law? The process leading toward an International Criminal Court is _pure_ politics (remember reluctance of the US govt. to deal with the matter?).
