VW bietet seinen Kunden eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Varianten und Ausstattungen. Kein Fahrzeug ist mit dem anderen identisch.

So far, I have:
VW offers its customers a wide variety of different versions and accessories.

I'm not happy with 'accessories' though. Can anyone think of a better term? Thanks.

Explanation:
Cars are usually sold with different 'packages' of accessories, which are given different names - e.g. with one variant of a model you get the CD player and the alloy wheels (the Sports package), with another you get the picnic set and the sunroof (the Holiday package),etc.

Since this is a fairly general statment, I suggest that 'equipment levels' would cover it.

"Options" is very common in the NA auto industry. In the case of VW (i.e. "Business Line" etc.) "package" would be quite applicable.

equipment configurations


Explanation:
IMHO 'options' is used rather to signify standalone options. 'Package' suggests that these are factory-preset configurations (which might be the case with VW, not sure about that).
Anyway, if a car's set of options is freely configurable by the customer, I'd go with 'configuration'. Some car manufacturers' sites have online tools for this called 'configurators'.

'Trim/equipment levels' remains a viable alternative, if this is the actual case with VW.
