Guten Morgen Kollegen,

leider fehlt mir das technische Verständnis, um
den Terminus "Auflastung" übersetzen zu können. Wäre das sowas wie "payload increase", also eine Art Erweiterung der Nutzlast? Aber wie würde das denn funktionieren? Müsste man dazu dann das Chassis verstärken??

Hier mein Kontext:
Kein Transport von schweren Gütern möglich, da das Fahrzeug über keine ausrei-chende Nutzlast verfügt. Auch die Möglichkeit der ***Auflastung (300kg)*** ist nicht befriedigend. Geforderte Mindestnutzlast: 3,5 Tonnen

Vielen Dank im Voraus für eine kurze Erklärung und einen Hinweis auf den englischen Begriff dafür,

Explanation:
The method of increasing a vehicle's maximum payload by constructional means.

"Based on the Defender 130 (3226mm) and including an uprated payload package i.e. strenghtened chassis and rear axle, uprated springs, rear anti roll bar, brake system improvements, thus enabling a G.V.W. of 3,500kg."

The higher payload must be approved by the manufacturer and/or the traffic authorities.

disagree  Cécile Kellermayr: Meine Interpretation: Mit Auflastung ist meines Erachtens gemeint, dass die "Belastbarkeit" und damit die zulässige Nutzlast des Fahrzeuges erhöht wird, damit aber die geforderte Nutzlast von 3.5 Tonnen nicht erreicht werden kann.

Explanation:
...geht so ungefähr in die Richtung. Der Begriff Auflastung bedeutet, dass man beim TÜV und in der Folge beim Straßenverkehrsamt eine höheres zulässiges Gesamtgewicht in den Fahrzeugbrief eintragen läßt als ursprünglich vom Werk aus angegeben. Natürlich kann man das nicht willkürlich machen, sonder auch da gibt es klare Hersteller- oder Zulieferer-Vorgaben. So kann z. B. der Einbau einer stärken Federung dazu führen, dass das Fahrzeug eine 100 kg höhere Nutzlast hat. Diese zusätzlichen 100kg beim TÜV abnehmen und eintragen zu lassen, nennt sich "Auflastung".

In deinem Text besteht für das Fahrzeug die Möglichkeit, 300 kg mehr im Fahrzeugbrief einzutragen als derzeit als zulässiges Gesamtgewicht eingetragen, die 300 kg werden aber als nicht ausreichend betrachtet. Céciles Vorschlag geht in die richtige Richtung, aber mir fehlten die offizielleb Aspekte, um zuzustimmen.

Oh, vielleicht noch als \"Referenz\" angeführt, dass ich mit mit dem Thema Auflastung eingehend befasst habe, weil es eine Möglichkeit war, bei meinem Auto die Kfz-Steuer zu senken. Daher inhaltlich volle 100% confidence level. Für die Übersetzung bliebe die Frage, wie wichtig dieser \"offizielle\" Aspekt in deinem Text ist.
