German term or phrase: aufpimpen
From an online survey asking drivers to rate various makes of car. My initial thoughts were that this means 'to upgrade' but then this doesn't seem to quite fit with the following clause about the 3er, which I assume is the model of BMW. Based on other google hits I wonder if it could mean 'to spruce/jazz up'...or something along those lines. Uebrigens, the asterixes are inserted by me but the original was in inverted commas, perhaps suggesting it is Umgangssprache.
