BTW, the buttons in my car are just labelled with arrows. If you have to use words to describe the function, I\'d say
up / down / auto-up / auto-down

thanks, I will go for that, because it's the most convincing answer. Anyway, the guys who work with that will probably know what it's about, I just didn't want to leave it without at least an attempt of translation

Explanation:
Don't have a posh car - I thought it was fancy enough that it had electric windows at all!

These buttons close or open the window all the way, rather than you having to sit there with your finger on them.

Mind you, I am only guessing!

I agree with Mary - this is what they are called.

This feature provides the driver with a One-Touch-Down button that completely lowers the driver's window for hands-free convenience. The window also can be lowered and stopped at any position.

agree  PC Services: May I mention: the words "überzu" and "überauf" don't exist in the German language, so the translation provided from the window lifter company (maybe originally from English to German?) are wrong in first place!
