dreischiffige neoromanische Hallenkirche

As far as I recall, a church/cathedral normally has ONE nave (the main part from the west door to the chancel, where the general congregation sit), a choir (east of the chancel to the alter, where the choir and other dignitaries sit), usually TWO transepts (north and south of the central cross, perpendicular to the nave and choir) and aisles runing next to and parallel to the nave.
So, how can a church have 3 naves? Are the aisles next to the nave being counted as extra naves..?)
