German term or phrase: Frischelogistik
Hi everyone,

I am translating a report for an agricultural company where they talk about what they have been doing to improve quality along the entire production chain. This is when the above term comes up in the following sentence:

Die *Frischelogistik* wird ständig verbessert.

The term "freshness logistics" comes up a number of times on the Internet but always seems to be a German translation.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

-> i just converted the longer "logistics for fresh food" into fresh food logistics. I then checked the use of this term on the internet. but further references can be looked for personally. I don't see the need to find loads of references. no time!

agree  Ramey Rieger (X): Okay, Kim, I'll go with your research results, although I still think it is linguistically missing the basic point.

agree  Kim Metzger: This book has considered the issues around this emerging topic of packaging logistics. To allow manageability of the topic it has focused on fresh food logistics … http://tinyurl.com/ksksa8z
