Tech/Engineering - Agriculture
German term or phrase: Spritzgut
This is one of the things farmers need to grow plants to be used for biofuel. Here is the original German:

"Die örtliche Bauernschaft wird mit Saatgut, Spritzgut sowie technischer Hilfe und Unterstützung versorgt."

Could "Spritzgut" be some type of irrigating agent?

"The local farmers are provided with seeds, .... technical aid and support."

I would appreciate any suggestions!

agree  Cetacea: or "spray products". Spritzgut is the same as Spritzmittel.

agree  John Speese: I would agree with either one, or even just "sprays". I worked in ag research before becoming a translator and we never said sprays for spraying equipment, just for the materials/products themselves. If we meant spraying equipment, that's what we said.

-> Thanks. Although "sprays" could refer to the spraying equipment
