OK, I am guessing, too. The first link talks of a Saatigel which, looking at the picture, is that spikey thing beneath the hopper. Go to Rasenpflege, then RS 60

This second link talks of seed spreaders or of 'power seeding (below the wet basement blurb). Sooooo, my guess would be the power seeding for this.

And I went to college so I would not have to work in the dirt. Go figure.

Looking at the pictures, this appears to do actually both things: pull ot a plug of earth and drop seeds into it. So I'm going for power seeding. Thanks a lot.
