fleet Explanation: I think your original impulse is perfectly fine. "Staffel" is by origin a military term that is translated as "echelon". But in commercial terms it is the airline fleet and both Flugzeugstaffel and Flotte are one and the same, IMO. The only differentiations made within the fleets of commerical airlines is usually between airplanes that can fly internation routes and short-range planes. There's no refernce here in your context. |
