German term or phrase: Faltbeschlag
Um die Lage der Rear-Fuselage nach der Montage zu kontrollieren, montieren Sie die Zielmarke mit der Halterung direkt am Faltbeschlag der Rear-Fuselage.

This would literally seem to translate as "folding fitting", but the only "folding fittings" I am aware of in connection with helicopters & rotorcraft are "blade-folding fittings", which obviously have nothing to do with the rear fuselage.

folding beam (fitting)
Explanation:
Navy helicopters can have two or more folding beams to allow folding away the tail section as a hole for space reasons (shipborne operations).

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks, but this is almost certainly not (AFAIK) a navy helicopter. Would it still apply?

folding mechanism

Explanation:
"Helicopters & rotorcraft" is not a field I am familiar with.

These bilingual pages translate 'Beschlag' as 'mechanism', albeit in a different context:

http://www.peka-system.ch/index.cfm?dom=4&srv=cms&rub=40172

The word 'mechanism' is generic enough to include a number of possibilities, IMHO.
